Fionnuala has always been extremely passionate about sport and fitness, having grown up playing GAA and Basketball at a high level. During the lockdown, she decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry and qualified as a personal trainer in 2021 and hasn’t looked back since!
Since 2021, Fionnuala has worked in a number of gyms across Dublin and adored every minute of coaching . She is especially experienced in group fitness, and loves to create an atmosphere of high energy, hard work and fun that pushes members during their sessions, hitting fitness and strength goals but having fun while doing it!
Fionnuala also loves working with individuals or small groups, helping new members start their fitness journey by teaching them the core values of training, how to stay consistent, working on form and technique, and trying to find ways to enjoy training as much as possible. Or working with more experienced members, with more specific goals or improvements they want to make.
In her own training, Fionnuala is particularly interested in hybrid training, mixing cardio with strength training. She is a Hyrox fanatic and regularly competes in Hyrox races, which quenches her competitiveness, while also keeping her on track in her own fitness goals.
Overall, Fionnuala believes that training and moving our bodies is a privilege and she wants to help people to love it as much as her. While the fitness industry can seem intimidating at the beginning, Fionnuala is here to encourage members to give it a chance and watch a world of possibilities open up in front of them; health benefits, body composition goals, good mental health, making friends and becoming part of a community.
